Trent Equestrian team offers both a competitive program and a recreational program for students and recent alumni to participate in.

 

The show team competes against other universities and colleges across the province throughout the academic year on the Ontario Collegiate Equestrian Association (OCEA). Team members must lesson once per week at our host barn, Kildare Stables. 

 

Recreational c​lub members also lesson once per week at Kildare Stables, however, club members are typically not offered the opportunity to compete at horse shows.

Both the team and the club have the option to participate in other social activities throughout the year. Being a student-run entity, the frequency and quality of social events are based on members' initiative to organize and attend such events.
