Kevin Sweeney
Kevin and his wife Lindsay are the owners of our host barn, Kildare Stables. Kevin purchased the farm at just 24 years old, and has since grown both his business, and reputation in the equestrian community. His involvement with the Trent Equestrian Team is a prime example of this, as he began coaching the team during the early 2000’s! When he’s not coaching the Trent Team, you can find Kevin riding client horses, or teaching the rest of the Kildare Stables family!
Juliana Newport
My name is Alexa Young
​Juliana has been one of Kevin’s clients for many years, growing up taking lessons and showing with Kildare Stables. After returning from school she began coaching, and has proven herself to be an excellent addition based on her students' results and improvements during recent seasons. While away at university, Juliana competed on the Atlantic Intercollegiate Equestrian League - an OCEA-equivalent in Nova Scotia!
Katie Cooligan
KC has beed riding at Kildare Stables with Kevin since she was 8 years old. She showed on the OCEA with the Trent Team for 5 years, 2 of which she was the captain. KC grew up showing in the hunters, but has now stepped back to focus more on coaching. This season, KC will primarily be coaching the Trent Equestrian Club members!
