Trent University Equestrian Team

Founded in 2004, the Trent Equestrian team travels all over Ontario competing in the Ontario Collegiate Equestrian Association (OCEA)'s North Zone. The team is determined through tryouts held at the beginning of the academic year. Equestrians of different skill levels can compete from 1’9 to 2’9 over fences. The team is designed to keep equestrians riding throughout the university, giving them the opportunity to do so at a low cost. Fleming College students are also eligible to be a part of the TET. The Team lessons out of Kildare Stables North and is coached by Kevin Sweeney and Juliana Newport
